Could anyone tell me how good this graphics card is? I am buying a new laptop and this is the graphics card listed. I am very keen computer gamer and media and entertainment enthusiast. Please inform me of whether this graphics card will be capable of running the latest games and how well...thank you.

that is a great graphics card. It supports up 1 gb of shared memory. It has like 512mb of ram on it's own. It will play a lot of game at near maximum settings.

I'm playing battlefield 2 at 70fps with a resolution of 1200x900. I say that's pretty sweet.
It's worth mentioning that my 8600M GT is a 256MB DDR2. A 8600M GS will be a tad slower, and an 8600M GT DDR3 will be much faster.
