I love playing video games on my computer but unfortunatly i can only play them ,without having the game lag, while the games graphics options are set to the lowest (including detail in characters / items and the resolution). So i decided to get a new graphics card so i can play them with much better graphics and with a much higher resolution.
Ive decided to get a geforce card from the 8800 series but im debating on what type to get. The geforce 8800 ultra looks preety good but i have head alot of good things about the geforce 8800gt when it comes to gaming
so my question is, which one would be best for getting top graphics out of my games?

it doesn't matter what it looks like (because it is insode your PC so you won't see it), as long as it does it's job properly and doesn't heat up too much, i'd go the one with the bigger MB or whatever (I don't know too much about graphics cards, i have a notebook set to 32MB)

Do a google or yahoo search for 8800 ultra and 8800 gt and add the word "benchmark" or "benchmark tests" to your search. Probably some hardware website has already done comparisons as to which card is the best for which situations. I have an 8800 gtx and it is very nice for games.
