My graphics card keeps going out?

This is a weird one and I dont know how to start. My pc is a Gateway 6000 and it has a 256 graphics card. My pc the other day had the yellow light on the front of the pc. I checked everything in it and found nothing wrong but still could not get the bios to run and could not shut the yellow light to green. I unplugged the wires to the graphics card and pressed the button... it beeped an then I plugged it back in and it turned on. I tried to turn the pc on today and the same thing. I unplugged the wire to the graphics card and it beeped when I turned it on and then shut it off and plugged the wire back on the graphics card and it came back on. I am so confused on this and I ran PC doctor and tested everything and nothing is wrong so it claims. I have no clue on this and why everytime it goes yellow and nothing boots.. I have to unplug the wire to the graphics card and press the power button to reset it with the beeps? I plug it in and it works again.. Very weird.. PLEASE HELP?

My graphics card keeps going out?

You have two options. See if you can find another video to try out. Or take another monitor to try and see if your can narrow down which the problem is. If it is detecting no monitor with the beeps I would say the video card is good. Hope that helps.

Your power supply is too weak to power that graphics card. Get a new power supply
