Graphics card question. GeForce 8800GT?

I am a gamer that doesn't really care about FPS or turning graphics on high. I just hate when the game wont run because of the graphics card. I am getting an AMD 6000+ with 2 gb of RAm, so that is no problem, the problem is What Graphics card should i get?? I have been told to go with the GeForce 8800GT but that is a little too pricey for me. I dont need good graphics or frame rates I need to be able to play the game!! please tell me the name of a few graphics cards that will run all the current and near future games!

The 8600GT is a BS entry level card. You can't play Crysis or Unreal Tournament 3 or STALKER on it. I would not waste your money on that POS.

The 8800GT 512MB will be released later in november lowering the price of the 256MB version below $200.

Also the ATI RV670 core is due out on the November 19th and may also lower the price of the card, but these cards will be slower than the 8800GT.

If you can wait until december or a bit later get the 8800GT then, but just don't buy the 8600GT. It won't last you 6 months and can't already play newer games.

Please look on the game box and see what the suggested and recommended graphics card capabilities are.

Work from there on a video card that will fit your computer.

Is it PCI ? PCI-Express ? AGP ???
