What is the difference between "Intel Exreme Grahics 1" and "Intel Extreme Graphics 2"

Is the 2nd one just a more modern version of the Graphics driver or what?

My friend has a computer that says it has "Intel Extreme Graphics"....and thats it

But mines is "Intel Extreme Graphics 2"

Is there a difference?

IS one better then the other?

Is the video more better than the other??

Intel extreme graphics is a software program/driver utility for intel video chipsets and graphics cards. Intel Extreme 2 is better because it caters to newer Intel graphics chipsets. The fact that you are running the Intel Extreme Graphics 2 driver utility program on your computer means your graphics card is probably better than your friends.

You answered most of your own question. The Intel Extreme 2 video chip set would be a more update and modern and it would be better in terms of speed, technologies it would support, usually in rendering 3D. However, both are fine for video playback and you shouldn't notice too much of a difference.
