geforce fx5200 will work with Vista, the problem is you should plug in your monitor from the graphics card instead of coming from the motherboard. also try to download the latest driver for your graphics card.

See if the nvidia site has drivers for vista for that video card. it may be too old to support vista.

you need to download and install the latest nvidia driver fro http://nvidia.com

The geforce card does work with Vista, but it takes a different driver

1) When you insert your graphics card did you plug in your monitor cord to your graphics card instead of your integrated card?

2) http://www.softwarepatch.com/utilities/n...

The newest driver for your GPU.

uhhh. .make sure you put it in the right slot, if you have a PCI card i'm pretty sure you can't put it into a PCI express slot. find the driver software, guru3d.com is a good place to find it. load the driver software before you physically install the card.

good luck!
