Sims 2 water graphics. They are not good. is my graphics card bad?Intel Graphics Media Acellarator 9

When I play sims 2 the water looks just blue. Not like the picture. Its a solid color blue. Not a shiny water look like it is supposed to.. Do you have any idea as to how to improve my graphics?

I already made the game effects HIGH on graphics effects for everything... so please help!

Well . . . the solid blue water is only for sims 1. but anyway, that's not the point.

i checked the readme file and it turns out that your graphic card is not listed there (mine too, but i play the game just fine. my graphics card is NVIDIA GeForce 7500LE 3D PCI-Express Graphics).

Okay. First, get the GeForce 1300 Graphics Card. That will make it better.

Follow this path:

C drive%26gt;Program Files%26gt;EA Games%26gt; (Open folder of latest game version you have)%26gt;Support%26gt;en-us%26gt;readme file.

Scroll down to Known Issues with Graphics Cards and see if your graphics card is listed. If it is, there should be remedies listed.

A sign of a really bad graphics card is when the water flashes red or black. I speak from personal experience here!

Remember, the higher you have the graphics set in the game, the slower the gameplay will be. If you choose to have High graphics settings, do you have reflections turned on? Making sure that reflections are on will sometimes improve the way water looks. But this too can slow gameplay.

ok I have that graphics card in my vista notebook and my sims 2 water is just blue two, In my Desktop I recently upgraded my viseo card becuase of the same reason and peformance is better. Just upgrade yo video card if you ahve a desktop computer, if you have a laptop you can't

yes upgrading the graphics card makes the water shiny!
