Graphics Card advise needed?

i am buying a new system as under.

Core 2 duo 1.8 E6300

intel DG965WH board

2 GB DDR2 667 ram

250 GB sata

19 samsung wide screen TFT

Sony DVD Writer

now i already have G force 6600 256 mb graphics card. i know this is not enough to play high end upcoming games. and second i am plying some games like FEAR and Half life 2 Splinter cell double agent Quake 4 etc with optimum level and they are working at this point. but i am thinking to buy new graphics card after a month or so after DX10 games launched. and also i cant afford high end card at this time with this system.

i would like to know does any one know can i use direct digital output from card to monitor ? and second should i wait for some time for graphics card or i should start planning to buy new one. as in future its clear that price will slash for sure.

You might want to wait a little bit for the ati directx10 cards to come out (should be around the time a few directx10 games are actually out). Should bring down some prices for video cards. But that's up to you.

As this chart shows, need to have around 30fps average to be really playable.
