Graphics Card Information?

Could someone list a few graphics cards that are available and their prices? I'm thinking about buying a new graphics card and I'm curious what ones are best. If you could, list ones that are good for gaming. And I was also wondering how easy it is to change graphics cards. Does one simply remove the old one and insert the new one? Or is there more work involved? Do I need to get some software or...?

Graphics Card Information?

First before I say anything You have to find out what conection is it on your motherboard example: AGP, PCI, PCI-E.to find this out the easiest way is to go to your desktop and right-click on it, then go to properties or graphics properties and click on the graphics tab i think its called. Once you have done that you might be looking for a Geforce 512mb or something along those lines your also talking for a descent card around 閳?50 - 閳?00 thats around 220$ - 450$

Yes, PCI is an older graphics card and is used less often than AGP or PCI-E. erm... are you using a s#desktop or a laptop and do you know where graphcis cards are located if not tell me the model and i'll show you a picture hopefully,

glad i could help! Report It

Graphics Card Information?

You need find out if you got AGP, PCI, or PCIe type before anything else, PCI is quite pathetic for this and you might as well forget the whole thing if that is so. AGP is older not current and PCIe is current, pictures of them floats on the net for people like you DIY first time. Remove and insert, install driver and done, removal may turn out to be disabling in your case. But generally if the card fits it works.
