Graphics card help and opinions.?

we have seen nowadays graphics card is the main issue if you are gamer. but what if your pocket dosent support you.

i have simple question is it true that in future we dont have options but to purchase graphics card which supports DX10.

i am not much aware of upcoming technology. but i cant afford too expensive graphics card, maximum 7600 GT or may be little up that's all.

my question is if i buy 7600 GT, is it true i wont be able play upcoming DX 10 supported games ?.

Graphics card help and opinions.?

If you buy a card that does not support dx10 at the time of purchase it never will. This is because dx10 is a totally different control language and a dx9 card simply will not do it no matter if you upgrade firmware or drivers. They also utilize shader model 4.0 which is not available on dx9 cards.

As the other guy said, most games will not fully utilize nor require dx10 for a while now so you would probably be safe buying that card now, as in a few years you'll be looking to upgrade anyway.

Graphics card help and opinions.?

If the card you buy does not support dx10 then no, you won't be able to play any games that require dx10

On the other hand, it is possible that graphic card companies will make driver updates so that your card will support it.

The good news is, it should still be awhile before gaming companies utilize and require dx10
