Graphics card got deleted?

my graphics card got deleted. it is possible for me to get it back without performing a system restore? is there any data recovery software i can use? will a system restore help? lastly, how much does a new graphics card ( preferably nvidia) cost if i play some games that do not require a good graphics card? ( i was using a Geforce 4) pls help

Anyways, you can install it again with the CD that's provided with the Graphics Card, or you can download it from the nVidia site. Anyways, GeForce 4 is pretty old to play latest games. Get the GeForce 7600 GS or the 8 Series. I think you don't have PCI-E slot, so stick with the AGP and GeForce 7600 GS is good enough for it.

You can't delete your graphics card, it is a piece of hardware. Download the latest drivers for it and install them. That should fix your problem.

the only way to "delete" a graphics card is to open your computer, taking it out, and slamming it into the trash can =)
